New Jersey has certainly been taking lots of steps towards a much more liberal gambling scene over the past couple of years. And its most recent step has been to provide popular live casino game developer Evolution Gaming, with the final approval so that it can launch its selection of titles at the state’s Hard Rock Online Casino.
Over the previous few months, online gambling has been doing exceptionally well in New Jersey, with revenue increasing from month to month. A strong choice of online gaming content can be found within the state now, from table games through to poker and slot options.
Up until now though, live dealer games have been fairly limited in their presence at these online gaming sites. Yet, with the introduction of Evolution Gaming’s products to the Hard Rock platform, the number of those is set to receive its own boost. The company is well-known for specialising in and providing a large amount of live casino games from several studios around the world.
It was actually at the Golden Nugget online casino that live dealer games first launched in New Jersey. At this casino, live gaming options are available solely from the Ezugi developer. It was the Golden Nugget that held the monopoly over live dealer options for several months, until a few other platforms began incorporating such games into their offerings.
Thursday saw Evolution Gaming pick up its final piece of permission to begin streaming its live dealer games through the Hard Rock Online Casino.
Anyone accessing the Hard Rock platform will be able to play several games from the Evolution brand, including shared player pools. Exclusive tables will also exist at the site. With the recent launch, the casino is set to include various games, including American Roulette, Blackjack Bet Behind and many others.
Speaking of the introduction of Evolution’s games, the Director of Product, iGaming at Hard Rock, Lee Terfloth said that he wants the Hard Rock platform to be the number one online destination for players from New Jersey. This makes Evolution Gaming the “ideal partner” to help the site achieve such a standing, he said.
This doesn’t mark the first time that Evolution Gaming has partnered up with some well-known brands, though. In fact, the developer is quite respected within the online gaming industry and it is said that it has already secured various other deals within the state of New Jersey. Other casinos mentioned in relation to the developer include the SugarHouse Casino and 888 Casino.
Time will tell whether the introduction of Evolution’s games at the Hard Rock platform will be of any threat to the Golden Nugget. Yet, the casino had potentially better get used to it. More and more online sites are focusing their attention on bringing live dealer offerings to their platforms, meaning that players from within the state will have more to choose from when it comes to live versions of blackjack and so on.
